The Cowichan Trail Stewardship Society is excited to announce we will be hosting a Trail Building Workshop May 25th and 26th.

This course will be taught by the CTSS in conjunction with a trainer from the North Shore Trail Academy. The course offers several education in trail care and maintenance, sharing our knowledge of sustainable trail building with our membership. The course combines classroom learning with practical on trail experience.

Friday night May 25th from 7pm to 10pm at Cycle Therapy you will learn the practical theory. Saturday May 26th from 9am to 3pm we will be on the mountain on Mt Tzouhalem putting the theory int practical use with hands on learning.
(please bring lunch/drink with you Saturday)

You will be attending the Trail Academy 100: Foundations of Trail Care provides an introduction to trail maintenance.

This course is FREE to paid 2018 members of the CTSS and will be limited to the first 20 people that sign up. You can sign up for your membership if you don’t already have one on our website at ; https://www.cowichantrails.ca/join/
